For the historic inauguration, Vital Voices is celebrating the power of women’s leadership and the representation Kamala Harris is bringing to the role of Vice President by collaborating with DC artist and activist Tronja Anglero. Tronja created a brand new portrait of Madam Vice President, highlighting her warmth and strength and paying homage to her heritage – debuted on Vital Voices’ future Global Headquarters for Women’s Leadership. Tronja joined host Alyse Nelson to talk about what this milestone means to her, the impact such representation can have and more.
